While I was a graduate student the University of California, Santa Barbara, I was the instructor of record for Introduction to International Relations (Summer 2023 & Summer 2024). I both taught students and managed teaching assistants for this course.
Course Description:
This course explores the important foundations, theories and issues in International Relations (IR). Among other topics, this course will explore war, international trade, international institutions, and the environment. The course will use many paradigms and theories to explain these topics and will explore IR's place as a social science. The goal of the course is to make you a more critical thinker on international issues and equip you with ways of analyzing world affairs.
